Basement Design Level Choice

AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING A DESIGN STARTED
Thanks for coming to this link to get your design information to me. Please first understand that I need many photos so I understand your space, a sketch of any type (outline shape/configuration of entire basement) with at least dimensions on it in feet and inches only, not fractions or decimals or total inches. Can be anything in legible chicken scratch or if it’s a large blueprint, take a clear HD photo of it and send to me. So I can find out if your building department has special codes other than the IRC codes I use; send you project address and I’ll be able to find out.

So these are the simple steps to get a design started. Download at this link in blue, the Adobe WISH LIST form unless you already have it. Save it to your device, fill it out, save it again and send it back to me. Don’t worry about if it will work or fit or not, leave that up to me. So don’t hold back on your wishes.

Take many nice clear digital photos. Just stand with your back to all walls about every 15-25 foot sections, take 2-3 photos from that spot in different directions showing as far across all ceilings as possible. I ignore what’s on the floors (I’ve seen thousands of messy basements) and not interested unless you need to show me drains. Close ups don’t help if I don’t know where you took it since I’ve never been there. NOTE: you can always use photos of documents to send me if you don’t have a scanner. I do desire to have original images in HD. Send 5-6 at a time in emails and or upload all to a shared cloud folder and send me the share link. If you need to know more on how I like photos taken, please visit this link; https://basementdesigner.com/taking-photos-sending/

Once again, I need a sketch, drawing, plan or anything with dimensions of all walls, locations of post, stairs, windows, drains and anything else that can’t be moved. Always measure from concrete and or framed wood walls that go to the floor. I’ll put your information on my CAD drawing software and then send that back to you as homework in case anything is missing that I might still need, ok? As mentioned, only send using total feet first followed by remain full inches. Round up if 1/2″ or more, round down if less and I have to spend more time converting total inches, decimals or fractions of an inch. Lastly; see the following 3D graphic view examples to compare which level of design to pick and indicate this on the wish list you downloaded and saved. Can indicate how basic of a design you want from me to how fancy you want. The five images below are the same shot and look across in the far room too and see a LED rope light added in a tray ceiling and how the molding changes as more and more details are added. Design Level or the “WOW” factor desired as in a Good/Better/Best or on a scale of 1 to 5 as 1 or A being simple to 5 or E being extremely fancy. Level of architectural features added into the design which is how much of my time is used on the design and or indicates to me once again how simple to how fancy you want the basement design. Provides me a general idea of what you except. I may also design to a budget range; if you want me to do this please indicate the budget range your working with and I’ll try to inform you if it’s getting to far over your head. You may also send me a sample image of the flooring, cabinets, counter tops and so on you’d like to possibly see in the design. I am not always able and do have limitations in my software. Wall colors from Sherwin Williams using there color number if you wish but limited to the same wall color in all areas and same color or white for ceilings. Also can show stone or brick types too.

More design levels can be viewed in many examples at this link; https://basementdesigner.com/basement-design-level-examples/ Please choose one to indicate in the wish list.

If I have not done so, you may request over 240 references of prior clients that did this process through email you can call and chat with about my cool email design service.
